This page includes a selection of the numerous electronic resources interns have used in the past to date and research various artifacts.   This is information that was collected by previous Technicians and the current Lab Supervisor at Ferry Farm.

Patent Search:

There are many other websites that supply free patent searches.  We use Google Patent the most often.  When using patents, it is important to remember that there are two dates that will be listed on each patent.  There will be a patent “file” date and a patent “issue” date.  We use the patent “issue” date.
